Mrs. Palin comes to Grand Junction

As a matter of fact, a reporter from the Criterion (Mesa State's newspaper) took a photo of me holding a sign that said: "Mesa Mavs for the Mavs!" and i made the front cover of the paper in the article Alaska's "Maverick" Visits the Home of the Mavs. No, my name is not Justine, thank you very much.

Incidentally, no one really mentioned my appearance in the paper, they were all too busy discussing the protestors who ran into the street in front of the motorcade.

Terror Alerts in a Bottle

At the Fire Fest '08 bonfire copious numbers of glow bracelets were handed out to the kids. Afterwards, a one of my sisters stuck hers in a bottle, and i couldn't help but snap a few shots.

Driving to see the colors...

My family and a couple of other families from church drove from Grand Junction, to Delta, to Hotchkiss, to Marble, to Glenwood Springs. The leaves were lovely. i haven't developed the photos from my advantix camera yet, but here are the shots from my cell phone, taken in Redstone, CO.
