Moon Dawn

Now that i work overnight i see many a sunrise.

mold!

While i was in Girl Scouts we tried to grow mold for a project and mine was the only slice of bread that didn't grow any. i've come to accept that i cannot grow plants or fungus, but this happened to me quite inadvertantly: i couldn't stand eating this bread, it was so dry and dense and flavorless that it eventually did the impossible... It grew mold for me.

Mr. Snowman goes on a diet

Not so very long ago, the new P.A.s at KJCT News 8 would use Mr. Snowman to learn how to frame their shots. The P.A.s have been promoted, found new jobs, or are no more, but Mr. Snowman still smiles across the studio at the anchors. Someone must have thought he was getting a bit pudgy because they gave him this healthy snack... What the kind benefactor must not realize is that Mr. Snowman has already lost some weight; he has a leak in his bottom that has been duct/k taped closed.

excuse me, i'm trying to breathe here

Those are the sentiments i usually have while walking across campus from Houston to the library. There are so many people standing around smoking that some days i feel like i need a gas mask or a t-shirt that proclaims my defiance. This sign is clearly displayed at the top of one of Houston Hall's staircases to the second floor.

went snowboarding

Here's the famous West End Mardis Gras tree (though it's difficult to see the beads and underwear in this pic). Taken with my new Exilim digital camera: more photos to come.
